Olive You Hub
A Space for Healing, Community, and Growth
Over 80,000 lives have been lost due to the ongoing genocide, and thousands more displaced, carrying the weight of unimaginable trauma. Among them are children who now face life without access to education or safe spaces to heal. In response, we opened the Olive You Hub in August 2025, a community center in Cairo.
Healing
The Olive You Hub provides a much-needed space for healing, community, and growth.
Thousands of displaced children are currently without education or meaningful activities.
Psychosocial Support
Provided by our in-house psychiatrist and doctor from Gaza. Offering 1:1 therapy as well as a psychological wellbeing programme on various topics including stress management, dealing with problems in the home, and supporting children facing trauma.
Creative Therapy
Our creative therapy programme gives children from Gaza a space to breathe again. Through art, music and movement, we help them process trauma, rebuild confidence and reconnect with the parts of themselves that were attempted to be silenced. The sessions are led by both Palestinian & Egyptian practitioners who understand the realities our community carries, which makes the healing feel safe and real.
Business Kickstarter Programme & Career Support
Helping displaced Palestinians in Cairo turn their ideas into income. We offer hands-on mentorship, skills training, market access and a supportive community that believes in their talent. From the first spark of an idea to real sales, we walk with each entrepreneur as they grow their craft, build confidence and reclaim their independence. Our programme is has already supported artists, chefs and women making handmade crafts to launch and thrive. In addition to this we provide any support needed to help Palestinians back into employment whether its CV writing, LinkedIn training, interview practice, or access to job opportunities.
Tatreez Programme
Our Tatreez programme preserves a living piece of Palestinian heritage while offering a healing outlet for women from Gaza. Guided by our Tatreez teacher, Alaa from Gaza, participants learn traditional embroidery techniques, reconnect with cultural memory and create pieces that carry both history and hope. The sessions build skill, confidence and community, giving participants a source of empowerment and income as they continue their lives here in Cairo.
Football
Our football programme gives children from Gaza a place to run free, laugh and feel like kids again. Led by Malek, a professional footballer from Gaza, and Adam, a dedicated coach, the sessions focus on teamwork, confidence and joy. For many of the children, stepping onto the pitch is a moment to release stress, rebuild trust in their bodies and connect with friends who understand their story. It’s more than sport. It’s healing, community and a small piece of normality they deserve.
English Language Programme
Our English programme opens new doors for children, teenagers and adults from Gaza by building practical language skills and confidence. Led by experienced teachers from Gaza as well as Egypt & abroad, the classes range from beginner to intermediate and focus on communication that supports daily life, education and future work opportunities. The programme creates a supportive space to learn, grow and connect, helping participants feel empowered as they rebuild their lives in Cairo.
Why This Project is Urgent
Thousands of displaced children are currently without education or meaningful activities. Many have endured profound trauma and urgently need stimulation, healing, and a sense of normalcy.
Despite the immense need, there is a heavy lack of infrastructure to support them as they remain without legal or refugee status. This center bridges that gap, giving children and adults the tools and support they need to rebuild their lives.
Children have no access to education
Children who currently have no access to education or out-of-home activities, with a focus on orphans, children with special needs, and those with disabilities.
Adults are facing difficulties
Adults who will have access to workshops in the evenings, providing spaces tailored to their needs for personal growth, skills development, and community connection.

A Community Space
The Olive You Hub is not just a center, it’s a place of connection and support. Many displaced individuals are experiencing profound isolation, separated from their homes, families, and communities. The center creates a space where people can come together, share their stories, and build a new community—one rooted in resilience and hope.
