Mutual aid for displaced Palestinians in Egypt and Gaza
Olive You is a grassroots movement supporting displaced Palestinians in Egypt and Gaza. Born in March 2024, we exist to restore dignity, rebuild community and create spaces where people can heal and grow.
In Egypt, we support families facing urgent needs like shelter and medical care, with a focus on those in vulnerable situations: women and children who have arrived with nothing, and those facing life-threatening illnesses such as cancer.
We also help Palestinians build sustainable livelihoods, offering business support and income opportunities. Our community hub in Cairo brings everything together, offering creative therapy, education, entrepreneurship programmes and a safe space for healing and empowerment.
In Gaza, the devastation is unimaginable. Since the beginning, we have worked to provide critical life-saving aid such as clean drinking water, food parcels, support for orphans, winter relief, and responding to urgent needs as they arise.
Our work is Palestinian-led, community-driven and rooted in solidarity, not charity. Everything we do is shaped by the people we serve.

WINTER RELIEF FOR GAZA
This winter is deadly in Gaza. Families are living in torn tents, soaked by rain and freezing cold. Children, parents, the elderly — everyone is suffering. Tents are flooding, and people have almost nothing to protect themselves from the cold. We are providing tent covers, blankets, and winter clothes.
ORPHAN SUPPORT PROGRAMME GAZA
Children in Gaza are living through heartbreak no child should ever face. Today, over 39,000 children in the Gaza Strip have lost one or both parents. Of these, an estimated 17,000 have become completely orphaned. Each one of these young lives bears the weight of loss, fear, and uncertainty. You are needed now — because these children need more than food, clothing, or shelter. They need kindness. They need hope. They need someone to say, “You are not alone.”
OLIVE YOU HUB - CAIRO
Our new community center located in Nasr City, Cairo, created & led by Palestinians, offers a place of healing, empowerment, and dignity. Our current programmes, led by Gazan experts, provide psychosocial support, creative therapy, English language, income building workshops, and football sessions.
BUSINESS KICKSTARTER
Supporting Palestinian entrepreneurs & artists to bring their ideas to life or take their business to the next level. Through our network of volunteers, we help businesses to sell in new countries, giving 100% back to them.
